Educate men to help keep all women safe

I AGREE with Wednesday’s Editorial Comment headlined “make women safer”. Whether at work, school, university or at home, men must make the running here, and be held accountable for their behaviour towards women.

Men (and boys in particular) must be educated to respect girls and women and their right to live their lives safely and free from any form of unwanted attention.

Where any man fails to act appropriately towards their female counterpart they must, if found guilty of any such misdemeanour, be punished.

May the women who live and work London (and of course elsewhere) enjoy much better legal protection from our government and an improved culture of respect in public and their private lives. For safety for women, educate men.
