GRAPHIC NOVELS

The graphic novel genre continues to rise in popularity; we’ll be talking about the power of stories told with pictures across the weekend. Alice Oseman, whose LGBTQ+ webcomic Heartstopper is being turned into a Netflix series, will be talking about her journey, which began with a publishing deal at 17. There will also be a chance to hear from Line of Duty creator Jed Mercurio and Prasanna Puwanarajah, whose recently published science fiction graphic novel Sleeper is the first in a series.
