THE search is on for a UK ticket-holder who has won the £184 million EuroMillions jackpot — the country’s biggest-ever National Lottery prize.

Camelot said one ticket holder matched all seven numbers in the draw last night. The win — £184,262,899.10 — will catapult the lucky punter to the top of the National Lottery’s rich list with their fortune putting them ahead of celebrities including singer Adele (£130 million), pictured right, and boxerAnthony Joshua (£115 million) on the SundayTimes Rich List. The new winner can now afford to buy four Caribbean islands or 11 properties by Hyde Park and still have a few million left over.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winner’s adviser at the National Lottery, said:

“What an amazing night for one UK ticket-holderwho has scooped the incredible £184million EuroMillions jackpot. “Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are the lucky winner.”

Only 14 players have everwon a jackpot of more than £100 million, with the previous record held by an anonymous winner who scooped £170 million in October 2019.

Colin and Chris Weir, who won £161m in 2011, are the biggest winners to have gone public.

The late MrWeir, from North Ayrshire, invested millions in his favourite football club Partick Thistle.

Other big winners include Frances Connolly, who with husband Patrick won £115 million in 2019 and said she had given more than half of her fortune away. The 55-year-old from Hartlepool said helping others “gives you a buzz”, adding: “I’m addicted to it now.”

The latest winner has 180 days to claim their reward. Once their winning ticket has been validated, the money will be paid out to them. They can decide for themselves whether they want to go public, or remain anonymous.

Last night’s win stopped the jackpot from rolling over to the EuroMillions limit of €230 million (£197 million), which would have been up for grabs on Friday.
