Harp gaffer still has squad woes

-

IN the North League, Lochee Harp face Lochore at Beechwood hoping to end a three-match losing run.

To be fair to manager Michael Gormley, the defeats have been against three of the best teams in the league and his cause hasn’t been helped by a lengthy absence list due to injuries and suspensions.

He still faces problems tomorrow, with Graeme Dailly, Mark Kelly and Gordon Ramsay ruled out with injuries, while Connaire Connelly is unavailable.

On the plus side, keeper Darren Brown, Paul Moran and Sam Hodgson all return.

The Beechwood side are also to lose Derryn Kesson, who was on loan from Broughty Athletic but has been recalled by the Whitton Park club.

New North End manager Ross Lunan’s winning streak came to an end when the Dokens were beaten 2-0 by in-form East Craigie in midweek.

The Shipbuilders took the lead through Andy McDonald in the first half and Lee Maloney sealed the points with a second after the break. Next up for Craigie is a visit from Kinnoull. Liam McArtney is definitely out with a hamstring injury, while Greg Warwick and Garry Welsh were doubtful for the North End match but should be OK to face the Perth side. Kinnoull are minus Kieran Donald. North End play host to Coupar Angus. Ross Sievwright, Robbie George and Euan McIlvenny are ruled out through injury.

Dylan Cook is a doubt for Coupar.
