New play hits airwaves

RADIO station Wave 102’s latest partnership makes perfect “sense” — having teamed up up with Sense Scotland to record a radio play.

The comedy drama, Auld Reekie, was written and performed by four local people who use the disability charity’s support services.

Presenter Chris Beattie worked with the group to help them professionally record the play, which will soon be available on the Wave 102 and Sense Scotland websites.

He said: “They are an exceptional group. I think what they’ve developed is brilliant and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
