Sam Kay, 29, released her first track Show Me with 1990s house music icon Angie Brown and rapper Pablo last month.

The former Harris Academy pupil said the track has recently started touring nightclubs across the UK as part of a club campaign.

Sam, who hails from the city’s West End, today told the Tele: “The video was released last month and looks it great.

“A firm called Famous Company edited the video and I love how the final version of the video looks.

“It was released last month and the response I have had from people has been incredible.

“The track is now on a 10-week club campaign, which started at the tail end of last month.

“It will be played in nightspots

“It is a proper holiday track that is getting mastered and mixed at the moment by Dennis G, who wrote the Sambuca song.”

She said seeing the Show Me video being played on music channel Vevo has been “really weird but cool”.

She added: “I’m just a wee lassie from Dundee and I have always had dreams of being a performing artist, so I am delighted with how the track has gone down so far.”

Sam, who also starred in Big Brother in 2015, added that there was a chance we might be seeing more of her on the small screen.

She continued: “My agent has put me forward for a new ITV show — Survival of the Fittest. I wasn’t sure if I’d do anymore reality TV but this sounds like a show which is right up my street.

“I’m a fitness fanatic and I am currently a fitness manager of a gym down in Bournemouth. The show will see a team of boys and girls battle it out in a series of physical and mental challenges — we’ll see what happens next.”

A FORMER Dundee X Factor contestant said she has had “incredible” feedback since the launch of her first official music video.
