Charging points plan
A PETROL station has unveiled plans to join the electric revolution on the roads.
Instavolt Limited has submitted a planning application to Fife Council for permission to install two electric charging points at Shell’s outlet in North Street, Glenrothes.
Fife is already served by dozens of electric vehicle charging points, predominantly located at train stations and car parks at public buildings, but this is believed to be the first time a traditional retailer has applied to install the facilities in the region.
Despite the application, the company will continue to cater for petrol and diesel vehicles.
