Moussa boost for Dark Blues
DUNDEE expect to have Sofien Moussa fit for Friday night’s clash with Aberdeen after he limped out of the 2-0 victory at Ross County at the weekend.
T h e Tu n i s i a n s t r i k e r earned glowing praise from manager Neil McCann after his showing at the Global Energy Stadium on Saturday.
Moussa had found himself out of the team, with Canadian Marcus Haber preferred in recent matches, but returned to the side in the Highlands and put in, arguably, his best performance i n the Premiership.
There was a slight worry over his fitness after he hobbled off in Dingwall but he should be fit for Friday night
Neil said: “Moussa fell awkwardly and it’s just a bit of cramp.
“I have to say his performance in the first half was brilliant against a really physical backline.
“I thought he was excellent.”
There was also praise for man-of-the-moment Mark O’Hara, who rattled in his third goal i n two games with an excellent strike to set the Dark Blues on their way to victory against the Staggies.
The Dens gaffer said: “We’ve been encouraging Mark to break with purpose and a real abandonment to what’s behind him.
“I think when you have at least four going with that purpose you look a real threat because it stops teams getting i nto their shape.
“Marko has that in the bag and we’re just trying to get it out and spill open on to the pitch.
“He’s starting to believe it now.
“We played him in a wider position but we asked him to come inside and that’s where his goal came from.
“Brilliant performance.”
