Found guilty of as­sault­ing teen

PA­TRYK Wal­czak, 19, of Fin­try Cres­cent, was found guilty af­ter trial of as­sault­ing a girl aged 14.

Wal­czak had de­nied that on July 9, at Or­mis­ton Cres­cent, he as­saulted the girl, spat on her and pushed her on the body.

His two co-ac­cused, John Scul­lion, 20, of Tor­wood Place and a 16-year-old boy, from Broughty Ferry, were both found guilty af­ter trial of, on the same date, at The Lau­rels, be­hav­ing in a threat­en­ing or abu­sive man­ner likely to cause fear or alarm, at­tended at the premises un­in­vited, shouted, ut­ter­ing threats to dam­age prop­erty, act­ing in an ag­gres­sive man­ner and chal­leng­ing Neil Smith to a fight.

All three had sen­tence de­ferred un­til March 1.
