No­mads trio are in con­trol at the top

THE top three No­mads teams all have 100% records and top their re­spec­tive Dundee and Dis­trict Bad­minton Di­vi­sions.

The latest win for No­mads (2) came at the ex­pense of NCR (2).

Cash were play­ing their sec­ond match in two nights.

They took an early lead with a win in the sec­ond ladies dou­bles and it was 1-1 af­ter the level dou­bles.

A cou­ple of wins in the open­ing mixed, how­ever, put No­mads (2) in con­trol and Lach­lan Mul­ford and Amy Pa­ton clinched vic­tory with a 21-17, 21-6 win.

It’s very tight be­low the lead­ers, with only two points sep­a­rat­ing the other four teams.

Dundee Univer­sity (3) moved up to sec­ond with a 6-0 win ver­sus NCR (2).

Ellen Ka­vanagh and Aaron Yau were the stars with three wins apiece.

In Divi­sion One, No­mads (1) con­tin­ued their win­ning ways with a 7-2 win against Dundee Univer­sity (2).

The pair also met on cup duty with an al­most iden­ti­cal score­line and pat­tern to the game.

This time No­mads ran out 6-2 win­ners to make their way into the semi-fi­nals.

Moni­fi­eth Grove moved to sec­ond in Divi­sion Three with a 7-1 away win against Aber­tay (2).

Brent Mitchell moved up to sec­ond in the rank­ings with his three wins.
