Two down, one to go for Dundee

Evening Telegraph (First Edition) - - Uk World Today -

WHAT a week this could be for Dundee’s season.

They’ve already put an end to Hamilton’s hex over them with a superb victory down there on that difficult pitch.

They found an even more difficult pitch at Inverness last night and managed to find their way through thanks to a bit of Scott Allan (above) magic.

What’s more is that it was Dundee’s first-ever win at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

And a perfect eight days could be complete on Saturday against Ross County at Dens.

Make it three wins on the bounce and Dundee are absolutely flying.

What’s more, it would effectively kill off any fears in the back of the mind of finishing bottom, leaving the Dingwall side 11 points behind.

It would push the Dee right into the frame for a tilt at a top-six finish, something that not too long ago looked a big ask.

They do need to be more clinical in front of goal, though, and that, in the end, could see them fall short.
