Lap­tops stolen in shop raid

PO­LICE are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion fol­low­ing the theft of com­puter equip­ment and mo­bile phones from an elec­tri­cal re­pair shop in Dundee.

The shop, i n Lochee High Street, was bro­ken into around 2.30am on Satur­day.

A spokesman for Po­lice Scot­land said: “Two per­sons are known to have en­tered the shop af­ter forc­ing open part of the front door.

“They took a num­ber of lap­top com­put­ers, brand new SD mem­ory cards and more t han 30 bro­ken mo­bile phones.

“There is a chance that some of these items will have been of­fered for sale around the city.

“If you have been of­fered one of these items, please let us know.

“If any­one has in­for­ma­tion that could as­sist our in­ves­ti­ga­tion, please call 101 or speak with any po­lice of­fi­cer.

“Al­ter­na­tively, in­for­ma­tion can be passed on anony­mously t hrough Crimestop­pers on 0800 555111.
