Angered by benefit pay

Evening Telegraph (First Edition) - - Uk World Today -

HOW can the Department for Work and Pensions award personal independence payments (PIP) to people who are meant to be not well but can lead a normal life?

By that I mean have nights out and holidays two or three times a year. It’s the same with people who suffer from drug or alcohol abuse.

Yet people who are genuinely ill don’t get any help whatsoever. It makes me angry when I see this. I’ve worked all my days for what I’ve got.

These payments make you wonder when some people are sanctioned for the slightest thing and can go weeks without money.

Beggars belief.
