Gov­ern­ment min­is­ter’s city visit

THE min­is­ter for child­care and early years has paid a visit to Dundee.

Ma­ree Todd dropped into the Scot­tish So­cial Ser­vices Coun­cil (SSSC) of­fice yes­ter­day.

Pro­fes­sor Jim Mc­Goldrick, SSSC con­vener, wel­comed the min­is­ter, who also met staff to learn more about their work.

The SSSC is re­spon­si­ble for reg­is­ter­ing peo­ple who work in so­cial ser­vices and reg­u­lat­ing their ed­u­ca­tion and train­ing.
