ANGUSALIVE is pre­par­ing to j oin the cel­e­bra­tion of World Book Day 2018 with a Sto­ry­bag col­lec­tion i ni­tia­tive for young read­ers.

It has been cre­ated to bring a va­ri­ety of fam­ily favourites to life with a care­fully cho­sen pup­pet or soft toy, in­clud­ing Ju­dith Kerr’s The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Ju­lia Don­ald­son’s Gruf­falo, as well as newer ti­tles such as Ro­bot Rum­pus by Ross Collins, for the event to­mor­row.

AngusALIVE chil­dren and fam­i­lies de­vel­op­ment of­fi­cer Sylvia Main said: “The Sto­ry­bag col­lec­tion aims to stim­u­late lit­er­acy de­vel­op­ment in fun and ex­cit­ing ways and is avail­able across An­gus, in­clud­ing through our mo­bile li­braries vis­it­ing our ru­ral com­mu­ni­ties.”
