Bleachers put five past new champions

LUNCARTY produced the result of t he day with a resounding 5-1 home win over newly-crowned North League champions North End.

Dale Smart hit a hat-trick with counters on 17, 36 and 51 minutes and Calum Kirkcaldy made it four on 70 minutes.

Ryan Smith got the Dokens’ consolatio­n counter after 79 minutes but Robbie Millar completed the rout minutes from time.

Kinnoull beat Blairgowri­e 4-1 at Tulloch Park. Mark Smith struck twice in the first half, before Darren Gray made it three on the hour mark.

Smith completed his hattrick after 73 minutes before Darren Neave netted for Blair.

Coupar Angus banked three points from Newburgh’s visit five thanks to a late Lee Maloney strike. Maloney had opened the scoring after six minutes but that was cancelled out by Jamie Gay after 26 minutes.

Arbroath Vics won 3-2 at Forfar Albion.

Kellon Lyons scored Vics’ first in 26 minutes but Johnny McBride levelled for Albion. The score remained unchanged with 83 minutes gone when Ryan Clark put Albion ahead. Then, in the last two minutes, goals from Argyle Cairns and a Josh Chalmers penalty snatched victory for the Vics.

Brechin Vics, who only had six signed players available, lost 6-0 at home to Lochore.
