Get creative
TEENAGERS are being encouraged to get creative as part of a new smoking prevention strategy.
Forgan Arts Centre in Newport has organised a free ceramic art course aimed at stopping youngsters turning to tobacco.
Run in conjunction with teen smoking prevention group Prevent, three sessions will take place at the centre and at the East Nook Studio in St Andrews.
Participants will be encouraged to share their “prevent” message through clay in whatever way they choose.
The Newport sessions take place on July 2, 9 and 16 and the St Andrews workshops are on July 23 and 30 and August 6. The exhibition is on Sunday August 26 from 11am-2pm.
