Football fever at nursery
YOUNGSTERS from a Dundee nursery have been getting into football fever as part of the World Cup celebrations.
The kids at Teddy Bear Club Nursery have highlighted the traditional foods, dress and music of the 32 countries involved in the tournament, as part of their enrolment week.
The children also created flags from around the world, baked football cupcakes and played some football outside.
Nursery manager Susan Gorman said: “As well as promoting healthy living and exercise, the World Cup is also a great opportunity for us to highlight to the children what life is like in other countries and to open their eyes to other cultures.”
