Hospital charge denied

EDWARD Shields, 44, denies acting aggressively towards staff at Ninewells Hospital.

Shields, of North William Street, will stand trial after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of behaving in an aggressive, threatening or abusive manner towards Karen Ferguson and Barry Klaassen by shouting, swearing and threatening them with violence on March 23 last year.

He will stand trial on April 10, with an intermediate diet on March 26. He was ordained to appear.
