Sturgeon referring herself on Salmond
NICOLA Sturgeon has said she will refer herself to independent advisers on the ministerial code over meetings with Alex Salmond.
The first minister said she met Mr Salmond three times and spoke to him by phone twice after two women made sexual harassment claims about him to the government last January.
On Tuesday, the government’s handling of the allegations was ruled unlawful.
Ms Sturgeon said: “It is in the interests of the women who have complained that the police investigations are allowed to continue without any risk of prejudice.”
