Bus was taking trip to Sinatras
I WAS both confused and amused when Sinatras – presumably the former bar on King Street – appeared as a destination for a Dundee bus recently.
The board pictured is outside Waterstones on Commercial Street, heading westbound, towards the city centre and Ninewells. It was clearly malfunctioning, but has the stop closest to Sinatras – which has been shut for eight years – ever been a final destination for buses in the city? I also assume that “opp Sainsbury’s” and “Kirkonnell Terrace” – notably with two spelling mistakes (it should be Kirkconnel) – are also individual stops rather than terminals.
