Improving Vics will need to be at their best to stop Craigie

-

TOP game in the Premier League is at Craigie Park, where the Shipbuilders take on third-placed Arbroath Vics.

Vics have surprised a few teams this season with their results but it’s difficult to see them upsetting a rampant Craigie side who have been scoring goals for fun so far this season.

Calum Faulkner is the only home absentee.

Vics are boosted by having Matt Keogh back from a ban, while Zac Archer and Conor Gray have recovered from injury.

Undefeated in seven, second-placed Blairgowrie will be looking to maintain that momentum when Violet check in at Davie Park.

With Darren Neave, Ian Plenderleith and Gordon Pirie all missing, Blair boss Mark Brash expects to have a squad of 16.

Pansies manager Andy Heggie includes a new signing in his squad after agreeing a loan deal with St Andrews for the signature of Jake Grady.

Another boost is the return of Sean Tucker but Kieran McWilliams and Lawrie Mitchell are out.

Brechin Vics host Coupar Angus and have Liam Bailey and Morgan Smith back. However, Duncan Martin is still injured.

Coupar have no fresh injuries.

Forfar Albion have suffered a blow with club captain Lee Gallacher having decided to give up playing due to personal circumstances.

Other than Gallacher, the squad who performed so well at Bo’ness last week, albeit they lost on penalties, will be on duty at home to Lochee Harp.

The visitors will again be without Darren Brown, Aaron Conway, Sam McDonald and Lewis Fyfe.

Defender Mark Kelly has been placed on the transfer list at his own request. Interested clubs should contact Michael Gormley on 07958 165190.
