Nicola very competent ...

NICOLA Sturgeon is respected as a very competent leader all over the world.

Far from her only focus being independence for Scotland, she has delivered so much more for the people of Scotland. Notwithstanding the mitigation of Tory London policies, which have decimated the UK.

Nicola Sturgeon has been the spearhead of delivering free prescriptions to every person living in Scotland, she has championed the provision of free school meals for all P1-P3s, and will be extending it to all primary children.

She has also been the driving force behind providing all under 19s free bus travel across the whole of Scotland. How about people in having access to free education? Or exemplary devotion to

NHS Scotland improvement, adherence to the meeting of waiting time targets. England scrapped theirs.

NHS funding has risen more than 60% under the SNP.

That’s just for starters, too.

She is responsible for the baby box, giving every newborn all the essentials they need and supporting new parents.

How about extending that support for parents, by saving them up to £2,500 a year per child, providing 600 hours of early learning and childcare.

English students pay upwards of £27,750 a year for tuition, Scottish students pay nothing, again, because of Nicola Sturgeon.

What about free care for all, regardless of age, the only requirement is necessity.

A UK first initiative, the Child Payment, lifting 30,000 children out of poverty.

Then there is the respect given to NHS staff and paid carers. Covid has been a very trying time and where there has been little recognition coming out of London, except doorstep clapping, the SNP paid every member of staff £500 extra, just as a thank you.

London taxed it.

The bottom line is this, Scotland would be worse off without Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP. They mitigate all of the destructive measures coming from London.

You only need to ask people just south of the border in the North East and West of England – many of whom would give their right arm to have Nicola Sturgeon as their leader.
