Stay off until after holidays

-

YOUNGSTERS in S1-S6 will be back in school for some of their education from March 15 before returning full-time after the holidays in April. Guidance has been issued to set out face coverings and distancing rules.

A SPATE of crashes has sparked a plea for an A90 carriageway safety review between Perth and Dundee.

“Whenever there’s a few accidents, councils blame the roads so they can put up cash machines or speed cameras.”

“Travelled this road for nearly 10 years every day for work. I have never seen a worse road for bad driving. Honestly in disbelief at what I’ve witnessed on this road over the years.”

“It’s not the road at fault it’s just bad drivers.”

“Here come the average speed cameras.”

ADAM DAVIDSON:

“Why not keep off till after Easter holidays? Make sense to start fresh.”

“Masks stop them picking their noses and touching their face and mouth constantly which in turn stops the spread of germs.”

SHAZZA MCDONALD:

JOYCE BELL:

“Children should be children. They need to be able to see each other’s expressions and smiles. A child is more likely to be struck by lightning than die from Covid – fact.”

LORRAINE ZETTEL:

“I hope the teachers have had their Covid vaccine.”

JAMES SCOTIA:

“Great idea. Have children cover their faces for the majority of their school day. Breathing in their own toxins and in taking less oxygen. Not to mention the psychological effects. There is no evidence face masks stop the spread.”

JACKIE MACKAY:

“It’s amazing how people pick up medical degrees on Facebook. If you are using masks properly then no you don’t block the virus particles escaping completely, but by maintaining social distancing, turning your face into your shoulder/upper arm when coughing, you minimise the viral load being pushed into the air.”

MATTY WATT:

“People still think kids can’t get this, so with parents like this what chance do we as a species have? I would rather my kids do my head in and wait it out than get a bit of peace and risk them spreading or being dead.”

DEBS BROWN:

“This is indoctrination and abuse – pre-programming for what’s to come. This is pure fascism. This only stops when compliers and enablers stop.”

FEARS about a rise in drugs deaths in Fife were heightened after it emerged potentially lethal “street Valium” pills were circulating.

“Everyone knows the risks of taking street Valium, they may act daft but they aren’t, they are just desperate.”

“Whoever deals in this should be jailed for life. How many people are gonna have to die with these before something is done?”

“Dealers have no regard for human life.”

“Blame the big pharmaceutical companies and doctors still prescribing people Valium knowing it can lead to an addiction.”
