Woman in abuse of neighbour

-

AN Alyth woman who hurled homophobic insults at her neighbours has pled guilty to further abusing them.

Carol Borland, 56, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court and admitted engaging in a course of conduct at Springbank Road which caused the two women fear and alarm between March 13 and April 2 this year.

Sentence was deferred until May 25 for background reports.

Borland, whose address was listed as Mill Street, was ordered by Sheriff Derek Reekie to stay away from her victims.

In October last year, she appeared in court and admitted subjecting the women to bigoted abuse and death threats.

Fiscal depute David Currie previously told the court that Borland stood outside the women’s property made throwing up noises and shouted: “You make me sick.”

Mr Currie said: “The complainers took this to be a comment on their sexuality.”
