Late Pansies goals earn blooming great result

-

VIOLET came from 2-1 down to beat Blairgowrie 4-2 at Davie Park.

The Pansies took the lead in 25 minutes but Matty Adam levelled for the Berrypickers 10 minutes later then Gary Axworthy gave them the lead.

The Pansies hit back just on half time then two strikes in the last 15 minutes gave them the three points.

Greg Houston scored a double for the Pansies and Greg Breen and Jamie Timmons were also on target.

St James surrendered a 2-1 lead against Kirrie Thistle and eventually lost 3-2.

Kirrie took the lead through an own goal but the hosts levelled before half time then took the lead on the hour mark.

But Kirrie had the final say with Brayn Duell equalising from a penalty then Craig Batchelor netted the winner.

Harp manager Alan McSkimming celebrated his first win as manager with a 3-2 win over Forfar United.

United were one ahead at the interval then doubled their lead in 66 minutes. But a remarkable last five minutes saw Harp score three times through a double from Russell and another from Hopkins to clinch the points.
