Flood probe finds cannabis
SHOCKED police discovered a cannabis farm when they were investigating a flood in a block of Dundee flats.
The cultivation was found in a property on Dens Road after residents complained of water pouring through the ceiling.
Footage from inside one home shows a significant amount of water streaming into the hallway and bathroom, close to electrics.
One resident said water was running like a “waterfall” through her ceiling.
Police have now confirmed they discovered a cannabis farm on arrival.
A spokesperson said: “Police were called to assist emergency service partners at an address on Dens Road, Dundee, on Wednesday May 11, following a report of a flood within a property.
“Officers attended and on entry to the property discovered a cannabis cultivation.
“Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2199 of 11 May.”
