Lankan artist Michelle Williams Gamaker explores race, identity, her love of cinema and the power of storytelli­ng. Her new solo exhibition, Our Mountains Are Painted on Glass, draws on and celebrates the classic movies she watched growing up and includes her new film work, Thieves, which is a fantasy adventure retelling of The Thief of Bagdad, a silent, black-and-white film from 1924, remade in colour in 1940. dca.org.uk

Mokulito: Japanese Wood Lithograph­y

Mokulito is a form of lithograph­y developed in Japan in the 1970s, which replaces the stone matrix surface with wood.
