Moult expects many more twists and turns in Championship race

-

NOTHING will be decided in this afternoon’s massive match in the Scottish Championship, according to Dundee United striker Louis Moult.

The Terrors No 9 welcomes the pressure that today’s match brings, with United and Raith Rovers battling it out at the top of the division.

Moult’s wonder goal rescued a point for his side in last weekend’s draw with Inverness, edging them a point ahead of Raith having played a game more.

It means that, whatever the outcome at Tannadice, the Tangerines will have a lot to do to ensure they top the Championship on May 3.

A win for either side puts them firmly in the driving seat but Moult does not think anything will be wrapped up come full-time.

“I don’t think it’s as simple as that,” said the 31-year-old marksman.

“I want it to be as simple as that and I want to go out there and win the game. There are six games left, five games after the weekend, and I still think there will be many, many twists and turns.

“It’s been like that all the way through the season.

“It’ll probably go all the way but I hope it doesn’t.

“The amount of wins we have got, the amount of wins they have got, it’s pretty similar. The big difference is really with the goals scored and the goals conceded.

“I feel like we’ve been the most consistent in the league, but enough has been said off the park. We need to do the business on the park now.

“I enjoy the pressure, I came here for the pressure. I’m really looking forward to it.

“The fans have been brilliant all the way through. They have been with us.

“It’s going to be a massive crowd this weekend and we’ve got to use that to our advantage.”
