Be careful with feeding

Evening Telegraph (Late Extra Edition) - - YOURVOICE - Wildlife enthusiast.

WE enjoyed a lovely visit to the ducks at Trottick Ponds. But we were disappointed to see lots of white bread floating in the water.

Although it is well known that white bread is very bad for ducks, there were no signs up to warn folk of the danger it poses.

It would be easy enough for the parks department to put up some signs — similar to the one I pictured elsewhere (above) — to keep our ducks and swans safe.
