Great Bri­tish Ten­nis Week­end will again see courts across the coun­try serve up free ten­nis for fam­i­lies and friends over two week­ends.

The sec­ond Great Bri­tish Ten­nis Week­end takes place this week­end with parks and clubs of­fer­ing free events right across the lo­cal area, in­clud­ing David Lloyd Dundee which is of­fer­ing free ten­nis on Satur­day and Sun­day.

Peo­ple across the area will be try­ing ten­nis for free in a re­laxed and fun en­vi­ron­ment and can take part in ses­sions in­clud­ing Car­dio Ten­nis, Mini Ten­nis and ten­nis coach­ing, all com­pletely free as part of Ten­nis Scot­land, the Lawn Ten­nis Aso­ci­a­tion and Ten­nis Foun­da­tion’s drive to get more peo­ple play­ing more of­ten.

Venues will be pro­vid­ing rack­ets and balls so, if you’ve never picked up a racket or just haven’t played for a while, Great Bri­tish Ten­nis Week­end is the per­fect way to get in­volved.

Ten­nis Scot­land has launched a part­ner­ship with the char­ity Mag­gie’s. Mag­gie’s aim to help any­one af­fected by cancer and pro­vide free prac­ti­cal, emo­tional and so­cial sup­port to peo­ple with cancer, their fam­ily and friends. Re­serve a place at www.lta.org.uk/gbtw.
