Great British Tennis Weekend will again see courts across the country serve up free tennis for families and friends over two weekends.
The second Great British Tennis Weekend takes place this weekend with parks and clubs offering free events right across the local area, including David Lloyd Dundee which is offering free tennis on Saturday and Sunday.
People across the area will be trying tennis for free in a relaxed and fun environment and can take part in sessions including Cardio Tennis, Mini Tennis and tennis coaching, all completely free as part of Tennis Scotland, the Lawn Tennis Asociation and Tennis Foundation’s drive to get more people playing more often.
Venues will be providing rackets and balls so, if you’ve never picked up a racket or just haven’t played for a while, Great British Tennis Weekend is the perfect way to get involved.
Tennis Scotland has launched a partnership with the charity Maggie’s. Maggie’s aim to help anyone affected by cancer and provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer, their family and friends. Reserve a place at www.lta.org.uk/gbtw.
