Scotland find it tough in Sevens
SCOTLAND will face Wales in the Bowl quarter-finals today after suffering two heavy defeats in Pool B of the IRB Sevens in Dubai.
The Scots went down 47-12 against Fiji, with captain Scott Forrest and Glasgow winger Hefin O’Hare touching down.
In the 36-7 defeat by Samoa, Edinburgh’s Andrew Turnbull scored a try.
Scotland conceded two early scores against Zimbabwe, but fought back with a try double from David Tait. Mike Adamson converted one of Tait’s tries before Colin Shaw crossed to make it 17-17.
