Outlander star Sam’s secret tape...
OUTLANDER star Sam Heughan has made a very special audition tape for a brand new Scots film.
But in order to see it, fans of the star will have to fork out eight dollars.
The clever move came from director and actor Graham McTavish who plays Dougal Mackenzie in Outlander and is raising funds to make his new movie This Guest Of Summer.
Graham will also be starring in the film, alongside his former Outlander castmates, Duncan LaCroix and Stephen Walters as well as former Hobbits Dean O’Gorman and Adam Brown.
Graham is asking people to donate what they can to help make the film and one of their pledges is to watch Sam Heughan’s special audition.
Without giving too much away it shows that Sam who I knew when he was at drama school, has been expecting a call about the lead role in Graham’s upcoming movie; he has some excellent ideas to incorporate, and has even tried out some facial hair!
Outlander actress Caitriona Balfe has also made an audition tape you can watch for five dollars. So far the project has raised more than $190,000 and it was only meant to raise $100,000. It still has 13 days to go on Indiegogo.com
