It’s snow­time as Christ­mas mar­ket opens for busi­ness

THE ar­rival of Glas­gow’s Christ­mas Mar­ket have her­alded the be­gin­ning of the city’s fes­tiv­i­ties.

The pop­u­lar St Enoch Square mar­ket which be­gan ar­rived last night has re­turned and prom­ises to bring sparkle to the square with a con­ti­nen­tal aroma. De­scribed as “beau­ti­fully dressed Christ­mas vil­lage it of­fers more than 50 sea­sonal chalets pro­vid­ing a host of tasty of­fer­ings for city cen­tre shop­pers. Among the fes­tive fayre are lo­cal crispy duck ro­tis­serie, bratwurst sausage, crepes and a hog roast to get vis­i­tors in the mood for the com­ing sea­son. Two new Ger­man bars and fea­ture Ger­man wind­mill will be the cen­tre­piece of the at­trac­tion which is de­signed to bring on the Christ­mas cheer.
