Mack in time to celebrate charity’s 50th
A GLASGOW tearoom will be taken back in time later this month as part of a charity fashion show.
Shelter Scotland will hold the fundraising event next month at Mackintosh at the Willow on November 25.
The recentlyrefurbished venue will host models swerving the catwalk and instead showing off their garments as they serve.
The featured fashion will represent all five decades of Shelter Scotland’s history, and will be hand picked from items donated to the charity’s shops.
Highlights include vintage, and designer clothing by Thierry Mugler, Escada, Ted Baker and Clements Ribeiro amongst others.
Shelter Scotland director, Graeme Brown, said: “This is a rare opportunity for people to experience Mackintosh’s remarkable design and the work of the restoration team.”
