Good bus manners

Evening Times - - FEATURES -

CAN I say to Caz of Dennistoun (Letters, November 8) with regards women bringing prams and buggies onto buses I will gladly move to the back of the bus and allow space.

Can I also say this is not a new thing – I remember when we stayed in Govan and my mum going up the city centre with three of us in tow, my big brother was about eight, I was about six, and our wee sister was about one and a half, when we went on the bus GENTLEMEN would get up from their seats, GENTLEMEN would assist my mum with the pram. This was in the 1960s.

And just to point out to you Caz, most buses now have areas designated for prams, buggies and wheelchairs.
