Pedestrian in car horror

A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a car on a country road.

The collision, which involved a white Renault Clio, happened on the A835, as the road passes over the river Conon, around half a mile east of the Maryburgh roundabout in the Highlands. The driver of the Clio was not injured in the incident, on Thursday.
