Pensioner dies in blaze

A PENSIONER has died and a woman is fighting for her life following a house fire in north London.

The Metropolitan Police said a woman aged around 70 died after being rescued from the property on St Loy’s Road, Tottenham, on Friday.

Another woman in her 30s remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
