Teenager’s award triumph

A TEENAGER is celebrating after receiving an award at Glasgow Guarantee’s Annual Celebration Awards. Shannon McLaughlin, 19, of Castlemilk, a trainee with building contractor McDermott Group, was named as the winner of the Jobs with Training Recognition Award at City Chambers.

She was nominated by Louise Henry of the firm for her determination to succeed in her domestic energy traineeship.
