Emotions run high as Brian switches on Tracy’s tree lights

REALITY star Brian Matthews got emotional as he hosted the switch on of the Christmas lights at Maryhill. Tracy’s Tree is a Remembrance tree outside the Maryhill Burgh Halls and each personalised bauble on the branches celebrates the life of a lost loved one. A memorial plaque shares the names of those who are remembered.

Tracy, who suffered from Spina Bifida and a rare condition called Kyphoscoliosis, died in 2014 at the age of 47 and her sister Jackie has been remembering her since with the special ceremony.
