Road reopens after flooding

A MAIN East End road has now reopened after closing due to flooding.

Blochairn Road fully opened yesterday afternoon having been shut for 24 hours.

The weekend’s wet weather meant Blochairn Road was closed in both directions between Provan Road and Siemens Street.

Road users were advised to find an alternative route as the closure was announced.
