Putting on the style at city’s mu­seum for great causes

A UNIQUE cloth­ing col­lec­tion by a Scot­tish cloth maker and a Pak­istani de­signer has been un­veiled in Glas­gow in the name of char­ity.

Har­ris Tweed He­brides and Pak­istan’s Has­san She­heryar Yasin, have put to­gether the de­signs for “Shah” to sup­port the UK As­so­ci­a­tion of Med­i­cal Aid to Pak­istan.

The col­lec­tion was shown for the first time at the char­ity’s an­nual Gala Fundrais­ing Din­ner at the Kelv­in­grove Art Gallery and Mu­seum, the first time that the event had been staged out­side of Lon­don.

More than 400 guests at­tended the evening, which was jointly rais­ing money for the group and The Linda Nor­grove Foun­da­tion, an Isle of Lewis-based char­ity which sup­ports women’s and chil­dren’s projects in Afghanistan.
