So what’s our verdict?

Evening Times - - NEWS -

IT CAN definitely be agreed that Irn-Bru’s new Crimbo Juice will be one of the more festive beverages found on the high street this Christmas.

Still retaining the usual florescent orange colour, one could be fooled into thinking that there is nothing out of the ordinary in this bottle of Irn-Bru.

However, reader, I urge you to look a little closer, and you will find a dancing snowman in place of the original Irn-Bru Man.

Crimbo Juice smells strongly of spices: perhaps cinnamon, or a bit of ginger. As per, the makers at AG Barr are extremely secretive about the ingredients that make Scotland’s bright elixir.

It smells more different than it does taste, and it is definitely not sugar-free.

Our verdict is that Crimbo Juice is good for Christmas time – but it’s the original Irn-Bru that continues to get us through.
