True pioneering spirit parks up at Riverside Museum
A NEW exhibition traces a line from the work of Scottish inventor James Watt to a pioneering modern Tesla car.
Going Green – The Drive for Energy Efficiency looks at James Watt’s pioneering spirit and his legacy in a time when combating climate change is vital.
The centrepiece of the Riverside Museum’s exhibition is a Tesla Model S P85+, believed to be the first Tesla acquired by a public museum in Scotland.
Gifted to the city by Chris Clarkson, it represents a new dawn in electric vehicle development. Alongside the Tesla is a rare Honda Insight Mk1, from 2000, donated by Charles Collins.
