Puppy is top pal for Milo

A YOUNG boy who is par­tially sighted and has autism has a new as­sis­tance puppy thanks to Brae­head shop­ping cen­tre bosses.

The par­ents of Zack Ad­di­son, aged 11, from John­stone in Ren­frew­shire, have been fundrais­ing to buy Milo, the Fox Red Labrador puppy. The pup now needs to go through 18-months of train­ing to be­come an as­sis­tance dog.

The intu Brae­head Com­mu­nity Fund do­nated £250 to­wards the cost of the spe­cial­ist Ken­nel Club train­ing for the10-week-old puppy.

Zack’s dad Ge­orge said: “Hav­ing an as­sis­tance dog will mean the world to Zack.”
