Bright idea lights up Kelvingrove
A FESTIVE event at Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum has opened its doors in the city’s West End.
Elfingrove is expected to attract more than 170,000 people until January 2. It is the brainchild of company itison, who are also behind The Botanic Gardens event GlasGLOW.
We previously reported that they have invested £1million in the event.
Those attending will spend up to 90 minutes taking a tour of the museum, which has been turned into a Christmas spectacular. The organisers say it will mean one of Glasgow’s best loved buildings will be brought to life with state-of-the-art projection, sound, lighting and a large dose of elf dust to create the most magical Christmas journey ever to be experienced. The Santa’s Best Kept Secret show is another part of the attraction as well as a winter wonderland offering food and drinks.
