E: My shoes are docs, trousers weekday, jacket is Monki, top is reclaimed ASOS and my bag is Urban Outfitters. I like a lot of Instgaram influencers as style inspiration, and I love Emma Connolly.

M: My trousers are 10-years-old, my shoes are converse, my top is Urban Outfitters.

WITH Christmas shopping reaching fever pitch I’m looking for an escape and preferably one that doesn’t involve a long car journey.

My shoes are Fenty Pumas from Rihanna. My trousers are Issy Miyaki, my T-shirt is a graphic T from Urban Outfitters, my jacket is Calvin Klein and my shirt is YSL that was £3.50. All I do is shop in charity shops or Depop. I love designer but I can’t afford it so I buy it all on Depop. My trousers were only £30 but they retail for £350. I’m booked in for an Afternoon of Indulgence, which includes afternoon tea, a revitalising 1hr massage and use of the hotel’s hugely popular thermal experience.

The Blythswood has added a new cafe to the spa area for a pre-spa lunch and with the soft lighting and calm ambience I’m already feeling very relaxed.

I’ve opted for the pescatarian afternoon tea and enjoy a savoury and sweet treats, including smoked salmon on rye bread, scones with cream and jam and delicious bite-sized pastries and macarons.

After the delicious food is fully digested I head to the thermal suite and the comfort of a loose fitting towelling robe. It’s worth a trip to the Blythswood for this alone and I spend
