Chippy in ve­gan bid

A POP­U­LAR Glas­gow chippy is of­fer­ing a ve­gan-friendly sausage sup­per this month.

The Blue Lagoon’s Argyle Street branch said its meat-free ver­sion of sup­per has com­pletely plant-based sausage and is coated in a ve­g­an­friendly bat­ter.

The sausage and chips are also fried in ve­gan-friendly oil. The launch comes dur­ing Ve­gan­uary which en­cour­ages peo­ple to try ve­gan for Jan­uary.
