McCoist’s son pays set­tle­ment to pedes­trian

THE man left with a “life-chang­ing” brain in­jury af­ter be­ing run over by Rangers leg­end Ally McCoist’s son has set­tled a per­sonal in­jury claim for an undis­closed sum.

Stephan Mur­doch, 24, started the civil ac­tion af­ter be­ing run over when Ar­gyll McCoist’s sports car hit him in De­cem­ber 2016.

The case re­lated to dam­ages for the in­juries suf­fered as well as the costs of nec­es­sary on­go­ing treat­ment and loss of earn­ings.

A trial was due to take place in Jan­uary 2020, how­ever, par­ties reached an out-of-court set­tle­ment last month.
