Evening Times - - TIMES OUT: YOUR GUIDE TO GLASGOW -

bruschetta, celeriac schnitzel – is delicious and healthy. And there’s superfood hub Kcal Kitchen on West Regent Street, for body and brainboosting meals.

The Ivy on Buchanan Street (theivyglasgow.com) has also thought carefully about what diners are looking for, postChristmas and New Year.

The brasserie has added some lighter dishes to its a la carte menu for January, including a tossed Asian salad, a warm salad of beansprouts, pak choi, watermelon, broccoli, cashew nuts, sesame and coriander with hoisin sauce; and an avocado and tomato cocktail which has red pepper, lettuce and pomegranate dressed with a spicy harissa sauce

It has also introduced a range of low and no alcohol cocktails, delicious smoothies and coolers.

Highlights include a Temperance G&T, which offers a full flavoured gin and tonic with very low alcohol content using Hayman’s Small Gin, Fever-Tree Naturally Light Tonic and a fresh twist of pink grapefruit; and Clean Clover Club, a low-alcohol version of the classic cocktail with gin, raspberry syrup, egg white and lemon juice.
